vertex vx150 programming help

to: mroneeyedboh01

try this link:

http://myweb.accessus.net/~090/freqs.html#vx150

scroll down to the vertex vx150 link and click it. the link will direct you to a page that has the aar frequenices and programming software download link.
download the software and then download the file into the radio, edit for your area and your set.
i recently purchased a yaesu vx-6 and have programmed some of the aar frequencies into it.
i found that its hard to press the small buttons so software is the best.
you can find the programming and software cable here if you wish to purchase them.

I said that the VX - 150 is a workhorse, but some got off the subject of talking the radio. I'm sorry! The VERTEX / YAESU had great idea when the VX-150 went in production, but the only thing that I don't like is, you can't do split PLs. You can't certenly turn off the DCS on recieve and still use a repeater that has DCS transmit only and CTCSS recieve. Other then that, the VX-150 works like a charm when needed.

Just got my programming cable for for VX-150. It's great to know it works. I love my VX-150. I have a newer vhf/uhf HT but I find myself grabbing the vx150 more often. Just programms easier.
