Vx 7r Limit Search

Hello all Im not sure where to post but does anyone have the yaesu VX7R radio im trying to find out how to do a band limit search on this radio the book is not clear and hard to understand
ex: how do I scan between lets say 140.000 thur 148.000 anyone can tell me step by step please

OK you have to store the frequencies into the special band limit memories, they are L1 thru L20 and U1 thru U20. Store 144.00 into L1 and 148.00 into U1. It's like storing any memory location just turn the dial until you reach L1 and then U1, going backwards below memory 1 should get you there. Then to scan go into memory mode dial up L1 and hold VM key to start the scan.

how do u input frequinces what mode must u be in ??

VFO mode to first input the frequencies. It's the same as storing any frequency.
