Started to catch some 800 comms this morning on the 800 Mutual Aid Calling and TAC-1 channels in the Lawrence area. Sounds like law enforcement working in the Clinton State Park at the Wakarusa Festival. Last year they brought in one of the KDOT COWS for communications- but I couldn't get close enough to see if they were set up again this year.

With the Douglas KSICS tower just a few miles from the state park I thought they might use that system- but I am not hearing anything but the normal KHP traffic.
