I purchased a 536 from the estate of a SK and am checking it out. It appears to be an early production (2013-14) and does not appear to have been returned to Uniden for correction of early production issues. Does Uniden still correct the early production display issue on this model?

Yes, but no longer under the recall program. They'll replace the clock module and display LEDs, but it's about $100.00 plus shipping to them. If you're going to ship it to them, don't bother with overnight or two day shipping as they are running about 30 days on most repairs.
