Does anyone know if BASF, Mallinkrodt and Hoffman LaRoche still have a fire brigade. I thought some of these companies closed their plants long ago, I dont know why they are still listed as having a department
The BASF plant in Washington is shut down completely (I believe) however the plant buildings still remain.
BASF in Belvidere was closed and completely demolished.
Avantor (former Mallinkrodt) in Phillipsburg still has a small fire brigade the last I heard.
DSM Nutritional Products (former Hoffman LaRoche) in Belvidere still maintains their fire brigade.
