Washington State Wide System?

Just wondering, if the state of Washington were to move to a digital statewide radio system. Would it most likely be VHF, UHF, 700/800 MHz? I think most comms in Washington are VHF analog so I was just curious...

Well, it looks like they approved the new radio system.

Looks like WA State will be digital in late 2012 -- if the plan works out.
