Waterloo Fire - Backup System on OnQ (BearCom)

I wish to report that Waterloo Fire Rescue was testing this morning on talkgroup 1354 of the "OnQ" NexEdge48 System, Site 202-16. Transmissions were quick and this fella's hearing weak, but it sounded like "Testing on the BearCom backup system."

I can try an make audio files available from DSD+ if interested.

Wonder how they manage that with two different non-interoperable systems, different radios etc.

Also managing now to hear talkgroup 1352, also fire radio testing for Cambridge.
