Hello, I am a new user with a Pro-106 / WIN500 trying to program the trunking system for Wayne County Sheriff Mi. I see the talk groups listed but not the frequencies. I have had success programming other MPSCS but I am unable to locate the control frequencies for this group. I did see other Wayne county sheriff talk groups listed under Wayne County Government (Motorola Type II Smartnet) with the frequencies, but I have not had one hit yet. I am a Deputy for Wayne County and I know we use MPSCS and our prep radios display the same Alpha Tags list on the MPSCS data base. Any Help?

Thanks Jeff

You should go to the MPSCS database page and program in the Detroit, Northville & Flat Rock towers. Maybe even the Southfield tower freqs. Wayne County Sheriff migrated to MPSCS a year or two ago,

Thanks gpp10x,
Like I said I am still new to all this. The last scanner I programmed was in the early 90's using a Police Call book. If the Wayne county talk groups are listed on the MPSCS database page shouldn’t the frequencies be these as well. I am going about this the right way? What is this HEX DEC? In the meantime I will check out the other towers. BTW, Your right we changed radios about 2 yeas ago.

You should program the freqs that are highlighted in red & blue for the tower sites I mentioned. Then you can program in the talkgroups you want to listen to. The DEC & HEX are the talkgroups you program into your radio. I use DEC numbers.
