Looks like the NWS just downgraded the PEAK wind possibilities because the low pressure area has not gone down in pressure quite as far as first forecast. HOWEVER, this is not going to be a fun event. Still use caution when driving, watch for downed trees, limbs and power lines and secure yard items.

Use the link in post # 1 above for the most recent info. Take care and be safe.

I crossed my fingers and checked into our county net as fixed. I really didn't want to go out spotting at night with large hail the big possibility. You can't see much as it is and then you get pelted with hail.

Well, WX9GRB said they saw some rotation in a cell that was headed for New London, so that ended my fixed status. I went mobile and headed in the direction they said and ended up stopping at the side of the road under a tree because it was raining so bad and hailing that I couldn't see anything anyway. Fortunately it was small sized hail so no damage to the car. There was some minor flooding on a couple of streets near the Wolf river.
