Wellsville PD and FD

I know that they changed frequencies. are they DMR, Turbo , or something else?

I see a lot of trbo in columbiana. I suspect they switched to trbo. Will try to confirm.

What is the new frequency that the PD and FD switched to cause under FD they have a DMR Emission on all the listed frequencies

From what I had been able to find so far is that its a Motorola Turbo System. The frequencies are the same the Color 14 is for the FD and the Color 15 is the PD. Any other conformations would be helpful to make sure that what I have is correct.

So you are saying:

154.13 Color Code 14 for Wellsville Fire
155.535 Color Code 15 for Wellsville Police

Is this correct? Do you know what talkgroup is being used for each of them?

MIke: The above information that I had posted is what I was able to capture on using a BCD436HP scanner and the BuTel ARC536PRO program as of this morning at work. I have not been able to get the other items from the open search on the frequency.
I'm not sure how soon when the other information will be fore coming?

Won't don't you read a couple posts above yours, where @Ke734A gave some information. They are now using DMR on the same freqs that they used to have analog traffic.

I got it figured out there was a setting off on my scanner.

ken734a, Would I be correct in thinking that the new frequencies are not encrypted? You are able to hear them now on the new DMR? The new frequencies are not showing on the RR database for me to tell.

I am from Wellsville I have a TRX1 and I have it set the DMR. I am hearing very little on my scanner and half the time they're talking it sounds distorted and I'm only getting half the conversation most of the time. I do not know if they have any other frequencies or not. Have not heard anything in a few days. If this helps you

Thank you for the advice. I believe that 159.030000 may be the repeater frequency for the PD and 150.790000 may be the repeater frequency for the FD. From what I've found the PD is color 15 and the FD is color 14, both are talkgroup 22. Maybe try those on the DMR and see if it is any better. Let me know if it works so I can decide if I want to purchase a new scanner.

I will punch that 22 into the talk group. I'll let you know if that changes anything. but I have it set to any for the talk group. Let me know if you figure anything out I will keep you informed also.

I did a service search on my scanner and I finally got some traffic from Wellsville.

The updated info for Wellsville PD and FD are in the database now. You'll be programming in :

154.13 Color Code 14 for Wellsville Fire
155.535 Color Code 15 for Wellsville Police

The other frequencies are the inputs to the two repeaters.

I haven't had much time to use my scanner in past couple days. But on my TRX1 the talk group is showing 55 for Wellsville PD. I haven't heard much on the fire department. I will try to do some scanning this weekend. I know it's some type of DMR I don't know if it's tier three or not. Kind of new to scanning.

They've been very active this morning I think the talk group ID number is 55 it seems to work really well. The radio is crystal clear even the dispatcher from the county who runs the license plates. I will try to monitor the fire department this weekend when I have extra time.

Just to give everybody an update it is tier 3 DMR. I bought a SDS 200 it picks up every communication perfect.

I have a Uniden BCD996P2 with an outside antenna, I also pick up all communication from PD and FD but it sounds like they are talking into a can, not very clear.
