Westar TRS

Just got back in the hobby after a few years with the purchase of a Pro-96. Love it. Way better than my old Pro-43 and light years ahead of my first rig, a Bearcat 210. Anyone have any stories of interesting stuff happening on Westar/KGE TRS? Having been an electrician in a former life, I can follow along with the routine. Just wondering if I should dump that bank.

Picked up some Troop H and Troop F on KSIS/APCO-25 today. Very cool. Any word on when Troop G will go digital?

I keep Westar as a bank and usually will lock out the bank until it's stormy weather season etc. and then I hear some traffic. Alot of the traffic seems to be over their MDT's though so some of it is missed.

The whole KTA should be onboard by late spring or early summer- they have to get the towers up and down the KTA switched over and then upgrade their dispatch center in Wichita.

EDIT: Not sure how this jumped from one string to another- it obviously belongs in the KSICS discussion.
