No idea if this should be posted here but I have only seen these in Oklahoma so far so thought I would start here.
I live in OKC and have noticed these are becoming more and more popular in the outlying areas i.e Moore, Norman, Edmond, Yukon.
Are these part of the 5G program or some type of wifi or what? I cant get close enough to one to see if anything is written on them. They are on about every other telephone/power pole on main roads in this area and more and more are showing up every day.

Yes, splice enclosure with slack storage. It's likely a smaller electric co-op that serves rural residential customers. OGE and ATT do not allow this type of enclosure attachment on leased pole space. They only allow strand-mount enclosures with snowshoe slack storage or, of course, riser down and underground. Where is this specific one?

Yep, OEC Fiber. Electric Cooperatives are the only one's generally that use pole-mounted slack/splice enclosures as they own the poles and don't have to worry about lease-by-the-inch attachment costs. I don't believe OEC is a player in front/back haul for wireless 4G or 5G. This likely only carries OEC's core, distribution and maybe back-hauls the automatic meter reader data.

I currently have Pioneer but might be changing to OEC. Everyone is saying they are getting way better speeds. Im paying for 1g and getting about 250 down at most on a good day. Most wont get the full 1g but should be around ~850 down.
