A friend of mine dug out his old scanner and brought it to me. Its the pro 26 and it will scan from like 25 - 1300mhz. Is there anything good to listen to anymore, other than the local police and things I can already pick up with my pro 97? I've been through the 800mhz range a couple of time haven't really found anything. Any suggestions?

Yes, I for one like the 225-400 Mhz Military Aircraft Band. The PRO-26 DOES cover that band. I suggest getting a good airband antenna.

I have one. It is a great airband scanner. Mine had that stupid virtual downconversion cellular mod that was supposed to tune analog cell phones in the 360 MHz military air band. I undid that so I could listen to mil air, and because I read that listening to 800 MHz in the mil air band puts too much strain on the CPU.

It will always be good for Airband, Railroad, Marine, and any local Public Services that are not Trunked. Many trunked systems have some sort of simulcast on a VHF or UHF frequency also.
Most Medical frequencies are still conventional analog also.
You can also monitor FRS and GMRS channels.
Best of Luck....
