What is NNJ 1-Tac 6 (P25

and why is it just a lot of buzzing? Is there anything to listen to on these Freq's?

if you are not listing with a scanner that has a P25 decoder then all you will here is buzzing, the buz's is a digital data stream that is converted back to voice with a P25 decoder so if you want to listen in you will have sped the bucks for a P25 compatible scanner

Though the database lists this channel as encrypted, so if that's true even a P25-compatible scanner would not allow you to understand what is being transmitted.

I am hearing it using a 346XT and a 996T, will those pick it up? I will have to go back and look to see where i missed the fact that it was encrypted.

well far as i can tell P25 encryption sounds garbled not like a buzz but chop up so i assumed he was listing on analog only scanner where it would sound like a Buzzing noise
