Pretty easy.
If they aren’t using RAS, I believe someone mentioned they aren’t, you could program up a radio/or scanner for receive only, with all the information if its listed(CC, TG). In the case of north jersey, for Kinnelon, Bloomingdale(picked Day school), and Kinnelon(I picked Denise drive-good signal), amongst a few others, that do have RAS enabled, I simply program in the frequency and CC, and it works. However, the only downside to that is if you have users sharing that frequency on TS 1/2, and the same CC, you’ll hear all the traffic. I haven’t had a problem with my monitoring on my 996p2.

I have monitored North Wildwood on DMR using a Uniden SDS100, Uniden 325P2 and a Unication G3. All of these radios required paid upgrade to enable DMR. For the Uniden radios you can just enter 460.3125 as a conventional DMR channel, and enter the color code as "9". If you have a Unication G3 you must first enter 460.3125 in the conventional frequency settings. Under Group and ID Call Settings set up Talkgroup "101" DMR for North Wildwood. Next, in Zone and Channel Settings under Monitor Mode enter the 460.3125 frequency you set up in frequency settings. Set Protocol Type as "DMR" and Color Code as "9". Finally, under the Knob-Talk Group List enable Talkgroup 101. You can then add that channel to a scan list. I receive the transmissions in Cape May much better than their VHF signal.
