What's going on with LWIN?

I've been away from scanning or a couple of years. Pulled out the Home Patrol 2 and popped some batteries in it this morning. I'm not hearing anything! I'm in Mandeville about 2 miles north of Fontainebleu State Park. I should be able to hear traffic from the Abita or Covington towers. Nothing. It's been scanning the LWIN system for a couple of hours now. What am I missing? The last time I had this scanner running was on a trip to Houston. Worked fine then.

Are you sure that it is picking up the CC or the AC on those two sites. I am not familiar with those sites but you can check the data base to confirm the frequencies. Good luck
