this may be in the wrong forum. What kind of system or unit do I need to look at in order to scan and communicate. When I go to the nascar races, i want to be able to scan the race teams, but also talk to my wife next to me through the headsets. I know they make some two way scanners for this purpose, but I have only seen very expensive ones. Is there any alternative to buying a new radio scanner system.? I already have a pro 95 we currently use. Thanks in advance

That isn't a scanner, its an intercom system with a scanner attached to it. There is one specifically made for the NASCAR by a company can FAN-LINK

Heres an idea, get yourself some FRS radios and set the priority on your scanner to the frequency of the FRS radio. When you talk on the FRS, you will hear it through the scanner. I supose this might not work too well if there are lots of other people using FRS.
