Pro-2006: Where to get PRO-2006 repaired?

Where can you get Radio Shack scanners repaired? PRO-96 and PRO-2006.

Pro 96 comes up as covered, doesn't look like the Pro 2006 is. Maybe if you give them a call at the number listed here they'll let you know

If your PRO-2006 has a backlight problem, I have seen threads giving instructions how to replace it.

G&G communications did a great job fixing my Pro 26.

FWIW, you can buy another on eBay for probably a lot less than what it would cost to repair one. I've bought several of them in nice to mint shape over the years for $20-$50.

I sent an email to G&G communications and they never responded. They are out of business or they don't repair Radio Shack scanners any more.

Jerry and his wife who owned G&G may have retired as they were in business for at least 20 years or so, they were always great folks perfect repairs every time and I had many enlightened conversations with them in years past. I started to do business with them in the early 90’s when I lived in Alaska.
