Whistler “B1” & “B2”

Going to admit my ignorance here, but what does the Whistler website mean by B1 (scratch & dent section) and B2 (refurb) scanners? Thanks in advance.

Scratch & Dent items have been restored to their original factory condition (with the exception of minor cosmetic blemishes) and have been tested for quality assurance.
This item may have been damaged during shipment, a customer return, or slightly used during research and development.
Units may have light scratches on the display or may have scratches or dents on the exterior of the unit.

Refurbished items have been restored to their original factory condition and have been tested for quality assurance.
my guess is a radio that has been returned for any reason.

Thanks for the input, wtp. I’m wondering just what the “B1” and the “B2” refer to. Maybe “Bin1” & “Bin2”?

could be, and probably the difference between s+d and ref from what i see.
just a way to tell them apart.
