From my work with GRE, I know of at least one part in the PSR-500 family of scanners that was "end of life" a couple of years ago. That makes it somewhat difficult (read: nearly impossible) to continue the PSR-500 line in a 100%-compatible way.

Does the PSR310/410 have the same end-of-life component issue? I wouldn't mind seeing a replacement for the 500/600 based on the keypad / display of these models.

Is it a lost cause to hope that the 1095 supports DMR/NXDN?

I know the unlikelihood has been discussed in other threads, but I am curious to see if any rumors have cropped up following the most recent delays to this device.
