How lucky are we? From the air traffic on the Denver system, sounds like the highways are a mess, might be a good day to just stay inside and drink some eggnog :LOL:

Snow and Blowing Snow Advisory issued by NWS has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning for the Denver Metro area, valid until 1700hrs. Additional 2-4" of snow expected, snow ending by early evening.

Just drove down form Denver to Colorado Springs. I-25 wasn't too terrible and didn't see a single wreck. The snow stops at Monument Hill, so only a gray Christmas in Colorado Springs.

We have a good 6-7 inches here in Greenwood Village, and it's still comming down. Can anyone beat that total?

Another Storm

Winter Storm Warning has now been posted for Denver Metro Area & much of Eastern Colo from 0500hrs Thursday to 2300hrs Thursday. 4-8" possible across the warned area.

Now on the other hand the drive home last night wasn't very fun. Mountain View fire was called out to 3-4 suposed wrecks on northbound I-25, all within a mile and all within 20-30mins. Some know that area of I-25 to be called the bermuda triangle.
