White truck w/yagi

Last night in my town I saw something I never saw before, I was driving behind a white pickup with a very large what apeared to be a yagi mounted on top, and they were looking for a signal, every time they came to a curve in the road the yagi would start to rotate, it was pretty interesting.

That was possibly one of my nearby neighbors looking for an illegal transmitter. He's with the ARRL and assists the FCC with enforcement issues. Basically he tracks down the illegal transmitters then informs the FCC Enforcement section, complete with recordings and video evidence.
Amaturs in this county play by the rules because they know it's easy to get caught with him nearby. I've seen him sitting on I70 tracking truckers as well who operate on 2m
