Stumbled across this at 4:27am (Oct 31) and kept listening throughout the day. Hearing these random bursts of short morse code, really slow at around 20 WPM, so even I can copy it :)

My first thought was a repeater ID, but it doesn't appear to be a callsign:
UAMC HVAMC LBVAMC DBCAMC is what I am copying.

About an S8+ in Pasadena with a discone (not quite full quieting).

Any ideas ?

Yup, that's the relevant NTIA listing, which says it's supposed to be a 100W paging transmitter.

OK Thanks. Maybe there are no actual "pages" going out over the weekend. I'll see if I hear anything during the week.

@xilix: Just heard a brief burst while mobile here in the IE (~21:28L) as I was setting up to watch it. Pretty weak (consistent with the 407.075 signal from there that I've seen here), but it definitely looked like paging.

[time passes]~21:58L heard what I think was "LBVAMC" in morse. Signal level consistent with earlier paging burst.

Nothing heard today except the ID'er. It seems to ID twice an hour, at 27:55 and 57:55 after every hour.

OK, on to more interesting listening!
