I have a Uniden BC72XLT and am trying to program it for my local airport frequencies. However, several frequencies just give me an error. I downloaded the manual and apparently these frequencies are outside the capabilities.

The frequencies are:
273.500 (Ground)
335.800 (Ground)
353.650 (Tower)
377.200 (Clearance)
379.150 (ATIS)

(This is a joint use civilian/commercial/military field.)
Is there an update for this scanner that will receive these frequencies?
Failing that, what scanner should I be looking at that will receive them?

Thanks,
John

The frequencies you listed are in the military aircraft band. Not all scanners cover these frequencies.

The BC72XLT receives only the civilian aircraft band (108.0-136.9875 MHz). It will not receive the military aircraft frequencies you attempted to enter.
