Check both the Application Event log and the System Event log. One or both should contain an entry for
the event and details of what executable caused it. To directly run the viewer, Click Start, Run (Type) Eventvwr.Msc [Enter] That should give a clue at least to what's causing the problem.
I get the same here but at random while saving my .500 file or closing the program. My event logs show a nearly constant Bonjour error, an occasional paging warning on secondary hard disk, and an uninstalled printer that daily tries to initialize. Nothing is flagged for win 500. I am wondering if it is a flaky memory stick, or if the random address precludes that.
best i can tell win500 not compatible with w7 64 bit and must be run in compatibility mode xp sp2,,,,,suspect time will correct this issue.....JMO.....meanwhile all works ok
