Win500 - Motorola Digital on Conventional channels

I have a system that is Motorola Digital, but NOT trunked. When anyone keys up, I hear nothing but carrier.

Using Win500, how do I tell the Pro-197 that this is a DIGITAL channel?

You don't tell Win500 anything regarding digital nor is there anything in scanner regarding digital.

Your frequency is conventional P25 and should be listed in CONV Objects tab. Set Mod to AUTO or FM, Sq Mode to None, Search or if NAC is known set to NAC and type in the number under Sq Code.

You can either program an explicit NAC value for the conventional channel object, or set that object to "NAC Search". Either one will force the scanner to "digital mode" for that channel.
