The pics below show how radio reference looks on my screen. The radio reference content does not stretch to fit the browser window. The blue banner does stretch but that's it. The main page for the database page does not stretch at all.

Other sites display content completely within the browser window. Is this on my end or something on radio references end?

Windows 10 running chrome.

There is nothing wrong with your browser or the RR site. The page looks the way it does due to design. Your browser reads the HTML used to design the website and then it displays it as the designer intended. That is not to say someone at RR did or did not design this site. Some forums are pre-made for others to use for free, or for purchase. I am unsure with RR.

I typically adjust the width of the browser window so that the excess on the sides is not visible. I do this so I can fit other windows/programs on the screen at the same time. I even have other monitors and computers I view remotely to help with displaying additional programs.

What the OP is referring to is "responsive design", which is a well-known web design technique. RR does not implement it.

In the browser settings under appearance, should be a zoom/scroll window. you will see that set to 100% default.
Up/Down buttons you can change this. 120% will fill the screen.
Advanced settings you an check the tic box for text only.
There is a way to do this from the address bar, but forgotten how.
In help, search for keyboard shortcuts that do the same thing.
This is a setting with windows 10, not the browser or sites.
