You will need to provide a little more information.

There are several states having a Montgomery County, You didn’t tell us which one you are in, and there is no location given in your user profile.

What programming software are you using with your scanner?

Hi & Welcome to RR! If after following the recommendations above do not work for you, I'd recommend clicking the "Report" link at the bottom of your posting and requesting this thread to be moved to your state's respective discussion forum in case changes have been made in the system, especially if you are requesting a file from another user in your listening area. As mentioned previously, many states have a Montgomery County. I, myself live in one but I'm thinking it's different than yours. Best wishes & 73!

Sorry, I'm in Texas. I've been trying to program it manually. If I had a zip to upload I would use win500. Sorry about the lack of info. As you can see I posted that at 3 this morning. I was running if fumes.

I think you are trying to program the Montgomery county simulcast site of

Unfortunately you have 2 strikes against you already. The first is that there are a good number of talkgroups marked 'DE' in the mode. That means encryption is used, and no scanner can handle this.

However there are more than a few marked 'D' and those might be copyable;

The next strike is that the site is marked as a simulcast site. The 1065 may produce a lot of garbled audio; only the Uniden SDS100 and 200 have been shown to be more successful at dealing with simulcast. As a bonus, if your county moves over to Phase II (which that system is set up as anyway), the SDS models can handle Phase 2 - the Whistler won't.

That sounds about right. Lol. My dad bought this scanner for my mom in January of 2019 and even when using win500 I couldn't get it to pick up anything I was loading into it. I've actually had better luck just messing with it over and over again and finally yesterday I was able to pick up what sounded like police dispatch from North West or west side of Harris county or Houston. Unfortunately I didn't write down or take a picture of the settings I had input. So of course in the process of trying to "fine tune it" I've erased or overwritten those. Oh well, thank you all for the responses.

Not sure what your budget allows, but if your area system is a simulcast system you will not fare well with the 1065. I know from trying to monitor the Ohio MARCS simulcast in my area. The 1065 was horrible, lots of garbled noise and silent gaps. I could not successfully monitor the system until I bought the SDS100. What an eye opener. Then I bought the SDS200 (2 of them actually) and I designated my WS-1065 and BDC536 to other non-simulcast systems. The SDS series scanners are remarkable when dialed in to simulcast systems. I use 2 SDS200s because I listen to several tri-county area systems and the SDS scanners are the only way to go. I did not realize how much I was missing. If you are able to dish out the dinero, get yourself a Uniden SDS scanner - you won't regret it.
