WWBT Chopper Crashed in Delaware

Richmond TV Chopper Crashes In Delaware - 3/24 - AP reports that four people suffered minor injuries when a TV news helicopter crash-landed in a field late Friday afternoon near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The chopper crashed just after 4 PM. Two of the occupants were taken to a local hospital for evaluation. The other two occupants refused medical treatment. The Bell 206B helicopter- which is a news chopper for Channel 12/WWBT in Richmond - is registered to HeloAir of Sandston, Virginia. It appears the chopper hit power lines before crashing. No word on why the Richmond TV station's copter was at that location. The investigation continues.

I heard about it on NBC 12 news (at 11) last night. The good thing is that everyone walked away.
