XTS5000 On Pal 800

I own a BCD996P2 that works great in certain areas of my home, but in the car, It will not work. I am considering purchasing a xts5000 Log into Facebook but just want to make sure it will work. Your help is greatly appreciated.

To keep yourself legal I would consider a Unication G4 or G5 based on your listening needs. G5 if you wanted the added ability to monitor VHF. I own both a XTS and a Unication and for RX the unication is way easier to program and monitor legally. When I speak of "legally" I mean to program a XTS500 for Pal8 you will need a SYSKEY. Having one in itself is illegal and punishable by law if caught. Just food for thought before you dive in. I hope that helps.

This is good to know, I will no longer be pursuing this project As it is illegal and am a system user on the palmetto 800 and wish to stay out of legal trouble. Thanks for your help
