Hi gang I live in york Pennsylvania and just curious if anyone knows if politics tac channels have been encrypted ty

It looks the dispatch channels are in the clear and the tacs are encrypted. I guess you are talking about police and not politics.

Please see the link below to the trunked radio system in the county. Next time instead of posting a question you should be able to check for yourself on the database on this site. Spend some time getting used to the database, as it is a wealth of information and it will mostly answer you questions on your own.

Welcome to the RR forums. Have a look at the database link provided in post #2 & focus on the "Mode" column in the talkgroup tables. All mode "TE" talkgroups are fully encrypted (Law Talk and a few Fire-Tac and EMS-talk talkgroups) You will only be able to track mode "T" talkgroups on the system
