RR DB has - Virginia Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

I also found this elsewhere - "SVEC currently leases 30 channel pairs of 12.5 kHz each of Automated Maritime
Telecommunications Service spectrum ("Frequencies") from MCLM (Call Sign WQGF315)
which the cooperative uses to operate a voice radio system ("220 MHz voice radio system")
which is the primary means of communication with field crews for essential emergency outage
and restoration services, operation and maintenance of the distribution system, and customer
field service operations. The use of these frequencies is essential to the prevention of employee
and/or public injury or death as well as property damage."

Associated Frequencies (MHz)
000217.50000000-000218.00000000
000219.50000000-000220.00000000

I haven't listened for years, but in the southern part of the valley they were 158.220 & 158.130. I have no idea if these are still active.

A quick search yielded 154.46375, call sign WFV892. But it is showing in western Rockingham and I think you probably want more toward Frederick.

Yesterday evening during the high winds/snow squall event I monitored electric utility type comms on 217.8425, 217.9550 and 217.9565 NFM analog between several units and "operations".

I think they are leasing 220MHz spectrum like several other electric cooperatives in the state and nation from NRTC.
ULS Lease - WQGF315 - L000003989 - NRTC, LLC
WQGF315 - L000003989 - NRTC, LLC
They are probably using TAIT radios, narrow band FM MPT1327 trunking. I think the leased spectrum can be used for voice or data. Their system may be tied in with other electric cooperatives that work adjacent areas

Yesterday evening during the high winds/snow squall event I monitored electric utility type comms on 217.8425, 217.9550 and 217.9565 NFM analog between several units and "operations".

Today I copied CWID's on all 3 freqs of WQGF315. One conversation had a unit in Winchester hailing Mt. Crawford (had to look it up, it is south of Harrisonburg) with Mt. Crawford responding.

A freq I discovered today with electric utility comms is 218.7800 with unit 555 reporting that the helicopter was done trimming at PV10274 and moving to trim behind PV7266. CWID on this freq was WPCU518.
