It appears that after owning the SDS100 for just shy of two years, I am plagued with the cold solder joint issue. What is the best way to contact Uniden for repair? How long does the turnaround process take and how expensive is the repair?

I am in the process of getting ready to send to Uniden a scanner for repair. Whats everyones opinion on the repair process? How longing general does a repair take? Should I include on the sheet my credit card info or should I call to provide that information?
