tonight, I heard 44.24 PL 100.0 talk of power poles, so id assume it's a power company.
nothing in RR or Google with that PL

Only three licensed users in the United States on 44.24 MHz (two of the three have more than one call sign) and my bet would be NATIONAL GRID USA SERVICE COMPANY, INC. in Adams and Williamstown Massachusetts.
