    Duplicate ARTC Fequencies

They are all used for Sector 72 Ocean East. This one sector covers a large area over the Gulf of America (Mexico), south to the border with Mexican and Cuban airspace, hence the need for multiple RCAG locations. I'm curious what the OP, or anyone in the area, is able hear on 135.775 ? Can you...

    Mid-Atlantic (and beyond) MilAir 2026

Okay maybe "sightseeing" was a poor choice of words, how about a "VFR visual maneuvering navigation exercise". Seems very similar to what GOLD 85 did on Tuesday going into WRI. Maybe helps keep them sharp for flying those VR Routes.

I was curious what they were up to. Checking LiveATC and RCH 415 was initially proceeding on the normal route via CON when they requested an early descent with the intent to cancel IFR and descend to 3500 feet, no reason was given, later they said they wanted to fly over the Fitchburg airport...

Operating out of KHFD, callsign sounded like NAUTILUS 27, ID by ATC as a Cessna 206, which seems to match the photo. State or FBI ?

    Navigational Aids (VOR) Monitoring

Do you remember any of the ones you used to be able to hear ? I'm surprised you would have been able to hear that many as VOR reception range is rather limited on the ground. There haven't been that many VORs decomissioned in range of the western NJ area.

    311.0 “Mustang” question

Sounds like it might be a reference to this system. According to AI. The Multi-Utilization Secure Tactical and Network Ground Station (MUSTANGS) is an agile, mobile SCIF solution designed for rapid data capture and secure communication in tactical environments. While often associated with...

    311.0 “Mustang” question

Well you got me, not something I've ever heard before. Sounds like maybe some sort of Brevity Code used to indicate aircraft status ?

    311.0 “Mustang” question

Just curious, the other OPS frequency listed is 275.950. What are you hearing on that frequency ? Do you know what type of aircraft are saying MUSTANG on 311.000 ?

    311.0 “Mustang” question

My guess is MUSTANG is the callsign of their OPS Desk. Cannon AFB used to be a P-51 base. Although AirNAV lists their Command Post callsign as TRAILBOSS. Do you ever hear that ? I doubt it has anything to do with the status of their officers.

I haven't been paying that close attention but doesn't the 412th TW use ARRIS for those types of test flights, I can't recall seeing them use ATHNA. As far as I can remember the 22nd ARW started using ATHNA on a regular basis after taking delivery of their first KC-46 in 2019.
