That shouldn’t matter. I’ve never programmed a 75, so I can’t speak to the differences in programming. All I know is that you get errors like the one you describe when you lack system keys for the system in the read program. -B

That should just mean that there is a trunked set already programmed and you cannot modify the trunked program because you lack the necessary system key(s). You should be able to just write a new program to the radio with your own channels/systems. It’s just telling you that you can’t modify...

Does this happen on simplex, repeaters, or both? I haven’t messed with my P7100 programming for a while, but I know my XL200P has a talkaround warning, so it beeps anytime the TX and RX frequencies on a given channel are the same. -B
