    Fdny has apx8000 radios with access to vhf, uhf,700 and 800. All those bands are and can be used. Primary uhf but there things in the other bands.

    33.96 is new Rochelle paging frequency. Recently you will hear tones on the uhf as there is an issue getting lowband equipment. Paging at some point will move to uhf and leave lowband.

    Fire ops or ems ops? Fire 6B and the divisions when there is a fire. Ems, hospital notification group.

    All simplex except hi rise repeater. Dispatcher didn't hear you. There were repeaters around the city in some buildings that were set to work with the portable radios.

    You had HT 1 which was the 153.890 channel 2 Citywide Simplex 3 Brooklyn Input 4 Mn Input 5 Queens Input 6 Bx/SI Input 7 hi-rise Thats is pretty much it. There were other radios for things like Dispatch (VHF), Cross band Repeaters (UHF) and 800mhz.
