I received the notifications on my feeds as well. However, I didn't receive any notifications from my own monitoring software so figured it was an issue with RR notifications.

I use DarkIce for mine.

I'm using this sound card on my Raspberry Pi to stream a stereo stream. http://amzn.com/B000KW2YEI I have 2 - BC350A's hooked up to it, one on the left and one on the right channel. I didn't have much luck with the cheap USB sound cards and the stereo stream.

I use a stereo stream on my feed. However, it's for 2 ham radio repeaters which isn't as chaotic as PD/FD/EMS traffic so it works well.

I ended up ordering the Behringer UCA202 sound card from Amazon for $30. It works fine with the Pi but does not have recording controls in alsamixer. I just adjust the audio on the scanners and it works fine. Nice to have a stereo feed working without having to use my old power guzzling PC. :)

Stereo feed on Pi? Has anyone found a USB sound card for the Pi that has a stereo input for use with running a stereo feed? I'm wanting to move my stereo feed off the PC onto a Pi but seems all the cheap USB sound cards have mono inputs. Is it possible to use 2 of these sound cards and route...

That seems to have done the trick. Going on 24 hours and the squelch noise *knock on wood* has not come back. Thanks for the tip!

Well the problem came back after awhile. Maybe heat related? Any ideas?

I have 2 of these BC350A's that I use for a scanner stream. I noticed recently the squelch is stuck open on one of them and turning the squelch knob does not fix it. I tried different frequencies in different bands and it's the same on all of them. Even unplugging the antenna doesn't fix it, so...
