Certainly sounds like it, nice catch. Thank you.

Anyone aware of any changes with the CFD ADMIN talkgroup and how CEMS uses it? 56098. Red Center used to advise all EMS captains over the air of shootings, stabbings, working fires, or other major incidents but traffic has seems like little to no traffic since the 23rd. Maybe the cold weather...

    Hillcrest Heights PD Dispatch

I've often wondered if those "Hillcrest Area Police" TG's (13539, 13542, 13544, 13547, 13549) were originally intended to replace the "Hillcrest" UHF system but it didn't happen that way and they are hanging out there in the RR database.

I lost my Euclid Ohio PD & Fire broadcasts ~1-11-26

"Allowed to do." Honestly I'm surprised they waited to do it for so long. Euclid has turned into such a crap hole with crime on a nightly basis that I wouldn't want people to be able to easily listen either if I were the Mayor. With social media blasting everything out of control...

    RDIO SCANNER

I just want to take a moment and say "thank you" for the work you have put into this. I have an RDIO system in NE Ohio that is pulling in traffic from Cuyahoga and Lorain counties (and some Erie county being added.) I am going to have to look at throwing ThinLineRadio on one of my ec-2...

Berea PD/FD to N Olmsted Dispatch & MARCS

TG 13729 is where Berea, N Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, and Olmsted Twp FD are operating. TG 14212 is where Berea, Olmsted Falls and Olmsted Twp PD are operating Both TGs are on MARCS. N Olmsted PD remains on Westshore Law Dispatch TG. As for WS Law being slow or quiet... You will find initial...

MARCS-IP ("New MARCS") Site and Talkgroup Discussion

It depends on if they stay on the existing talkgroups or if they get moved to new TGs. Also Olmsted Falls/Twp PDs are not encrypted. They are on their own talkgroup now - still in the clear, it just isn't being streamed by whatever you're listening to on broadcastify.

    Lake County Ohio Outage

Something just changed, Cuyahoga County MARCS now decoding on all 4 non-motorola radio devices. Check your scanners and Unication pagers again.

    Lake County Ohio Outage

Digging some more, I see a massive amount of channel grants, all sub one second, and just the same TG's scrolling by over and over like some sort of loop. I'd say something is hosed - at least on whatever site I'm receiving in North Olmsted.

    Lake County Ohio Outage

I don't know, I agree with picsic - something changed or is odd. 2x SDS-200's and 2x computers running SDR Trunk. I've got a good control channel but missing almost all voice transmissions for the talkgroups I'm monitoring. Worked fine last night, oddly quiet here tonight.

    Greater Cleveland Radio Communication Network

Nevermind, I see what they did... combined departments onto the SWEDC talkgroups. Probably a lot easier for the dispatchers not to mention for M/A.

Anyone still hearing Strongsville FD and N Royalton FD on the system? They seem to have wandered off somewhere to hide...

    Cuyahoga County MARCS Issue 9/26?

Maybe.. all of a sudden both the scanner (external antenna) and the unix boxes are receiving again.

    Cuyahoga County MARCS Issue 9/26?

Hmmm, I switched my MARCS box to GCRCN and it works fine. I put MARCS on the GCRCN box and no joy. Confirms to me that both receivers work, the coax isn't cut on them, etc... Either weird atmospherics or something changed w/ the Brunswick Hills ("Strongsville") site.

    Cuyahoga County MARCS Issue 9/26?

Thanks! Will keep hunting my gear and what broke.

    Cuyahoga County MARCS Issue 9/26?

Anyone noticing issues w/ the Cuyahoga County simulcast today? It's weird, I've had them rock solid in North Royalton for over a year now on multiple receivers. The control channel kind of faded out around 9am on an internal antenna on a trunk-recorder box with an Airspy (handles simulcast...

Somebody else using school emergency TG

I think it is 1 or 2, personally. The recordings / control channel data of the Rocky River CSD that day show no evidence of anyone being patched on it. The ONLY traffic in that TG was the weekly radio tests. At the same time, there was no evidence of the RR CSD talkgroup traffic being...

Somebody else using school emergency TG

Hillcrest North Dispatch uses "700" a lot and Chardon Rd runs right through there. So sure enough, at 08:33 this morning (while RR School District was paying attention to those radios for the weekly radio test)... I captured the following on TG 13541 Hillcrest NFD: 742: "742, 700." 700: "742"...

Somebody else using school emergency TG

Is it possible the radio in the office is on the wrong TalkGroup? The only traffic on the RockyRiverCSD talkgroup in the past 48 hours was the weekly MARCS test. I noted St Thomas, St Christopher, Goldwood, RRHS, Kensington, RR BoE, Luthern West, and RRMS.

    North Royalton Police

They went back to encrypted right after that girl got shot in Sunrise Cove and the media picked up on it right away. Honestly, they're such dicks to southwest dispatch over the air, if I was chief I'd encrypt it too just out of sheer embarrassment at the lack of professionalism.
