Hi everyone, this is Mike from Thinline Dynamic Solutions and owner of OhioRSN. I’m still working through a few final items while balancing my full-time job and responding to fire calls. I deployed the latest version last night for final testing and bug fixes.
Our current app, Ohio RSN, will be transitioning to Thinline Radio in the App Store. I’m finishing up the remaining work on both the app and our data server, and you can expect the update within the next week or two.
We will also be releasing a full setup video for Windows. I truly appreciate all the feedback—there have been a lot of additions and improvements, so there will be plenty to explore. I’m here to continue supporting, improving, and growing the platform.
Thinline Radio is built from the open-source rdio-scanner project on GitHub, and I want to take a moment to recognize and thank the original developer for the work they put into building and sharing that project with the community. Their contribution laid the foundation that has made tools like this possible.
The original project has not seen updates in about three years, and with the needs of our community growing, I made the decision to develop both the mobile app and the new server infrastructure myself. What you’ll see with Thinline Radio reflects over a year of additional development, integrating the features, fixes, and alerting systems I’ve built over the past four years of using Rdio.
This isn’t about taking someone else’s work—it’s about expanding on it, investing the time, and continuing the progress in a way that benefits everyone.
Thank you all for your support, patience, and feedback. I’m excited to share what’s next, and I’m here to help the platform continue to grow.
