Is there a way to lock and unlock banks on a BC-796D other than waiting for 20-30 minutes for the BANK list to actually show? I have been trying for the last 15 minutes to unlock several banks by pressing TRUNK then SCAN.........I am attempting to press the bank numbers before the scanner picks...

On the Pro-164, I have my banks set up by county. i.e. B1C1 County 1 SO B1C2 EMS B2C1 Different county SO etc. If something happens in county 1 is there a way to quickly just that county? I also own a 106 I'd like to know how to do this?

this site dosent say the "Bank #" and i dont know what it means so right now this site is useless because it dosent tell me the bank #... below is an example of what im saying(manually typed in): what i want: Bank 2 CH 17 154.800 what this site has: 154.800 in the end i cant use this site...

I have a Pro-97 from Radio Shack and I do not have the software or cable because I program it all on the scanner itself. I know how to change the alpha tags on the scanner itself but I wanted to know if it is possible to change the bank names without connecting it to a computer, and how it is done.

I recently purchased a PRO-2096. I am looking to put Detroit PD in one bank, Detroit Fire in another bank and Detroit EMS in a third. Do I have to put the Primary and Secondary frequency in each bank along with their talkgroups id? Or do the primary and secondary frequencies go in just one bank...
