buzzing noise

Hi, this is my first post here. I am not very knowledgable with scanners as it seems most of you are lol. I have a Uniden BC95XLTB and have been listening to the rcmp on it 24/7 for the last 4 or more years on 155.7 . Just about 2 weeks ago all of a sudden I am not able to hear anything only...
