106 scanning ques.

hello,
i have a 106 programmed w/ win500. only 2 scan list....1 FIRE AND 2 PD
when i hit "scan" it comes up notheing enabled. but if i hit "man" it shows the entries i made.
any idea's?

Do you have any scan list enabled? If you look at the screen when you press scan you should see the scanlist numbers like 1 or 2 etc showing that it is scanning. If no numbers on the screen then there is nothing for the scanner to scan... Did you program with software? the default scanlist is 1 unless you changed it so try pressing scan and then press 1 to see if it starts scanning.

i can see both 1 and 2 when i hit scan also i checked scan 1 ans 2 w/ the software.

upload the file would be best, but anything that I/we can see how and what you have programmed.

You have NO TSYS associated to those talkgroups. Go back and redownload the system and make sure you pick a SITE!

ok i redid the whole thing again .the exact same way i tried it b4 now it works..........thanks guys

lol now i'm getting a heap error

bfd300 there is alot of discussion about heap errors if you do a search. It has to do with orphaned TGs just like your original file showed.
Can you post your NEW file please?

i found it...........the check wasnt checked for show unnasigned..........i deleted then and it works now
