Hearing military traffic on 11190khz @ 0005z (11/14/2010)

The S7-S9 signal is a bit erratic at times and the sound quality has that muffled tone to it. The primary operator sounds like he's in an aircraft. Not sure if it's the pilot or radio operator.

Callsign is <blank> Whiskey. He asked if a launch is still scheduled. I think I heard "Foxtrot 1 launch" or something similar to that. A weaker station replied but couldn't copy him all that well.

Note: Just after this communication there was a SKYKING signal on 11175khz from Andrews AFB.

Heavy traffic as of 0020z:

Male is Romeo
Female is Juliet is "205407 on station until 0050z"
Base is Whiskey

Base asked "What Range?"
Answer was "Sierra Hotel"

<sigh> Too much traffic to type and listen to... heard a reference to "Arizona" and "<callsign> on channel X####"

I tuned down to 11189.95 and that seemed to help a bit. Now I can engage the DSP NR.

Now I'm hearing "KILO" as a major player in the conversation.

Same here. Working on uploading audio captures...

Here's what I recorded towards the bottom of the hour (time condensed by SpectraVue)

Whoa. Just heard "I am RED. In International Airspace. Aircraft will not respond to commands."

Talk of aircraft in International airspace not complying with their demands...

Excercise maybe?

Yeah it's pretty weak for me too. Either the frequency propagation is poor and/or they've moved areas.

I haven't heard anything in the last 15-20 minutes though.

Anyone else?
