Yes, 153.240 not 153.245. I'm hearing a PD on it located somewhere in the Patterson, NJ area. They mentioned W. Colonial St. or Rd. and a place called Oriental Restaurant. I know it's not Patterson, but must be a town close by because many of the vehicals they stop seem to come back to Patterson residents. Any ideas??? Thanks!

Hackensack PD ???

That's what I thought initially, but once they mentioned how a teacher reported her car being vandalized in a school parking lot, I knew instantly that it couldn't be Newport Mall. However, I have confirmed hearing Newport Mall Security on that frequency you mentioned when I was there once. After doing some more research, I realized that the only business that calls themselves "Oriental Restaurant" in the northern NJ area is a place located in Hackensack, NJ. Therefore, as of now, I must be hearing Hackensack PD on 153.240 (could be .2375), but definitely not .245 Perhaps it's a new frequency they are using now???

Thank you very much. I'm assuming Palisades Park is near Hackensack or part of Hackensack since all the businesses and street names mentioned on this frequency are located in Hackensack. I have never confirmed anything on 155.4525 yet, however last time I checked, Chatham PD is on 155.445.

Palisades Park is a borough along NJ Route 46 between Fort Lee and Ridgefield Park (not too far from Hackensack).
The PIP (The Palisades Interstate Park Commission) is a state park stretching from Edgewater to Bear Mountain. The NJ sector uses 155.4525/R DPL-265.

I hear this frequency on both 153.2375 and 153.2400 clear as a bell in Wayne and it has to be a PD or mall security, they are using a PL of 82.5.

Frequency is licensed as a Business frequency and classed as a Centralized Trunk Relay (FB8), so would this actually be a police agency let alone the Palisades Park PD? Then again anything is possible I guess.

It could be listed as anything, however it's definitely being used by a POLICE DEPT. Most likely Palisades Park PD as W2MR confirmed. This frequency is also alocated as a business frequency for Newport Mall, however it's used as one of their security frequencies.
