I recently caught activity on this frequency in the Union County area. In the FCC database, it's listed as Plainfield and Cranford First Aid. However, that's not who is using it. It sounds like some kind of auxilary PD or Road Dept. Yesterday, they were talking about putting cones out. Then, there was no more activity on it. I get a very strong signal from the Roselle Park area. If it's in the RR database, then I'm missing it. Any ideas??

Could definitely be a utility company. However, the only utility company licensed in NJ on that frequency is PSEG, but only in southern NJ according to the FCC DB. Since my scanner doesn't have great reception, considering it's coming in so strong, I doubt it's Keyspan in Nassau county. I don't think they would be coming in so clear if it were them, howver anything is possible. I'll keep monitoring and try to get street names.
