165.9500 MHz is a nationwide IRS channel. It has been noted with different NSCs depending on what repeater they are accessing.

Started a wiki article tonight to start logging these IRS repeaters...After searching for IRS on the forums (and combing through all the BS threads in the politics folder), I've added all the basic information I could find. Feel free to add in other info for those of you who have it, thanks!

Monitored in the Boston area 165.9500R $100 with different NAC tones on the input to access different repeater locations.

$100 on the output with [similar to ATF] multiple input NAC's

Can I suggested for the wiki to add a Confirmation date as things do change and we can then see that last heard/validated info?

Interesting - so far in my travels I've not see $100 on any of the 165.9500 repeaters, but have seen NAC001,002,003,008, 010 and 011. You guys do things a little different there...

These are primarily the IRS Criminal Investigation (CI) folks, so they run investigations, surveillance, serve warrants and make arrests like other federal law enforcement agencies.

From what I have monitored, to coincide multiple location search warrant entry times. Also, to advise other CI units of local police known or suspected prescence.

There is a 165.950 Mhz rptr located here in West Palm Beach, Fl.--abt 70 mikles north of Miami and about 60 miles south of ft. Pierce.
It is at same site as my commercial rptr--the rptrs are abt 15 feet from each other--along with some other federal agencies
Hope this answers the question about the unknown location about the unknown site in SE Florida
