so i am wondering if 171.8000mhz is a commonly used FBI frequency?

Around these parts, here in the midwest, the FBI operates on whatever system is available. In SD they have their own talkgroups on the statewide radio system. In MN i hear them now and then on the BCA frequencies and talkgroups on the new ARMER system. I suspect eventually they might have their own talkgroup once the whole state is online.
