What NAC on the 173.8625? Here in the Northeast there are two sets of users.

CBP and in NY/NJ it's also an Federal Interop [FIO] Channel, the NAC will ID the user

NAC's without a Freq's doesn't really help. NAC's can are are used by many agencies.
Some of the more Common , can point to specific agencies, but it's not 100%

ie $167 is typically FBI, however I have seen NPS use it to

If you are really seeing X2-TDMA on the channel start looking for a control channel. I own a couple APX7000's and there is no way to use X2-TDMA or P25 Phase 2 on a conventional channel those modes are limited to trunking applications as of this time. multiple sites using the same frequency could explain the multiple NAC cades you found. Any other info you can provide us with about the question at hand would be very helpful.

hope this helped a little,
bob

ok

thanks. not receiving any control channel in the 162 to 174 band. 173.8625 is only federal frequency i've heard that has frequent data bursts and voice traffic.

So you say you are getting all these different NACs on 173.8625 MHz? That's weird...

The frequency has multiple agency allocations, but doubtful they would all be using the same frequency at once.
