Question on frequencies

hi I have a question on this scanner the bayshore and Middletown in New Jersey, EMS and fire when I’m listening to this, I do not hear this stuff on my actual police scanner yet I uploaded all the stuff from Radio for reference directly with the wire so anything frequency wise I can see numbers and type in already in there so I’m curious why I’m not hearing news is this Bayshore Middletown want a single frequency or is there a bunch of them under there? Can someone guide me into the frequency that the Bayshore Middletown fire EMS uses on the broadcastify app or website???

Looking for Middletown nj Bayshore fire ems.. again I uploaded it directly with the wire from radio reference and still not hearing the same stuff.

Welcome to the RR forums. What make & model scanner(s) are you using? According to the database it looks like Middletown operates conventionally as opposed to the county TRS? I'm sure I'll be promptly corrected if I'm wrong...

I think the key there is the top line above Middletown's frequencies...

Middletown​

Police, Fire & EMS are now dispatched by Monmouth County.

Which means they would be dispatched on the Monmouth County's P25 Phase II simulcast system. If you are a premium member you can listen to the calls platform feeds on the below talkgroups with the blue links:

Possible, and I too will wait for a NJ person, not being in the area I can't say for sure. That said, I would suggest the OP monitor the links to the Calls Platform feed I mentioned above and see if this is what he is interested in.

Currently, County dispatches and pages out Middletown services (PD/EMS/FD) on Middletown's own convention VHF frequencies. (for now). The FD is the only township dept operating on the county 700 during response. All township depts will be moving over to the county 700 in the coming months. New Harris radios are currently being installed in police vehicles.

@Gthothor1 if your scanner(s) discriminate(s) traffic based on service type you'll want to make sure "Fire-Tac" & Multi-Tac" are turned on otherwise the scanner will omit traffic from those frequencies or talkgroups during a scan. These two service types are not enabled by default. Reference "tag" column in the RRDB for applicable service types. If this doesn't apply to you please reply back with make & model scanner(s) if you still need help troubleshooting

The lack of details in the RR DB really annoys me too. For example, first town listed under Monmouth County is Aberdeen. It says that Police and EMS operate on NJICS. BUT, underneath the DB lists FIRE/EMS dispatch conventional channel.

Another example. Under South Amboy it says "Conventional Frequencies Are For Backup Only", YET below lists 156.105 indicating its still simulcasted on there! Simulcast and backup are two different things. I would love to see more clarity for such things.

The time they go live may not actually be 0500 and may be at some point during the day.
They are borrowing radio's until the ones that were ordered are delivered, they are on back order.

So it looks like the change over will be during the day Thursday 2/19 and it’s EMS North.
